Lanvin's high-top sneakers seem to be getting a lot of attention lately. They were featured in the New York Times Fashion & Style section on their website which - by the way - also quoted Aloha Rag's president Tatsugo Yoda. We recently got 2 new color ways of their sneakers and are preparing them for purchase online. If you just can't wait... contact customer service at [email protected].
So we got a new Canon 5D SLR camera in the office and my initial impression is that it's great! It is a huge upgrade from our older 10D SLR resulting in better image quality and a quicker workflow. Im curious to see how it handles my day to day operation and how it stacks up to my Canon 1Ds. One thing is for sure... it's lighter... a lot lighter but still feels substantial in my hand. I took it to the roof of our building to shoot some random photos and was equally impressed with its performance out of the studio as i was in it.

You've probably already heard about our new boutique targeted to open at the end of March 2008. Aloha Rag (New York) will be located at 505 Greenwich Street, walking distance from Soho. We are very excited to bring our spirt and ideas to this area, offering a different twist on fashion developed right here in Honolulu, Hawaii. Construction has been going well under the watchful eye of Mr. Y. Our company has been carefully searching for talented, passionate, fashion loving professionals to fill a few full-time positions that are still open at our Greenwich boutique. If you have retail experience with an eye for visual merchandising and the like... you are more than welcome to submit your resume to [email protected] for employment opportunities.
For those of you who haven't visited our boutique in a while or haven't got a chance to visit Hawaii at all... I thought you might want to take a peek at our latest store photos (click on the link below). Our boutique is ever-changing like the fashion industry, and what used to be... is now burnt into our minds as pleasant memories of humble beginnings. If you happen to be in the Honolulu area, please stop by and spend some time with our accommodating staff. They will be very happy to see you.
